The Gerber Randy Newberg EBS is a fixed-blade hunting knife developed alongside hunter and broadcaster Randy Newberg specifically for game processing, whether you work the gutless method or a traditional open-cavity approach. Rather than one all-purpose blade, the EBS carries three task-specific 440C stainless blades — a 4.7in backstrap blade, a 3.6in caping/breakdown blade and a 3.6in multi-purpose blade — that swap in and out of the half-tang handle via Gerber's Split Sec Tech system, so you can change edges in the field without fumbling for a second knife. The skeletonised handle keeps weight down to just 6.01oz, and a retro-reflective insert helps you spot the knife if it's set down at last light. When you're done, the handle nests into the back of the Quiet Carry blade box, which stores the spare blades and drops discreetly into a rucksack or pack until the next call comes in.
