The H&N Baracuda FT is a competition-grade domed pellet built for Field Target and Hunter Field Target shooting, where a single missed kill-zone costs you the lane. In .177 calibre with a 4.50mm head size and weighing 9.57 grains (0.62 g), each pellet is hand-sorted to a weight tolerance of just ±0.25%, so shot-to-shot consistency holds up at the long, unknown-range targets FT courses throw at you. H&N batch-tests every production lot: five shots at 50 metres must group inside 12mm centre-to-centre, and twenty shots inside 20mm, before the lot leaves the factory. The Baracuda FT gives its best results in precision air rifles producing around 12 ft·lbs, which makes it a natural match for UK legal-limit FT and HFT rifles, and it stays effective out to 50 metres. Supplied in a tin of 400, it is a sound choice for club competition, practice sessions and any shooter chasing tighter groups from a sub-12 ft·lbs gun.
