The Hawke Endurance LRF 700 is a handheld laser rangefinder built for serious field use, capable of measuring distances out to 700 metres with an accuracy of plus or minus one metre or yard. Its defining feature is a red OLED display with illuminated icons and six adjustable brightness levels, which makes readings easy to read in bright sunshine or low-light dawn and dusk conditions without the glare that can wash out standard LCD panels. Five measurement modes — Distance (with continuous scan), Rain, Hunt, Horizontal Distance and Angle — give you a practical toolkit for varied shooting scenarios, including sloped-terrain compensation for angled shots. The Endurance optics combine multi-coated lenses and BK-7 prisms for high light transmission and true colour rendition, producing a clear 6x view through the 21 mm objective. A wide-angle optical system aids rapid target acquisition, and the adjustable dioptre sets the view sharp for your eyesight. Nitrogen purging, waterproof and fog-proof construction handle the wet, misty conditions typical of UK stalking ground, and auto shut-off keeps battery drain in check.
