The Hawke Precision Steel Ring Mounts provide a robust two-piece mounting solution for 1-inch scope tubes on Weaver and Picatinny rails. Machined from solid steel, these low-profile rings offer superior strength over aluminium alternatives, making them well suited to centrefire rifles and airguns where recoil or vibration could loosen lesser mounts over time. The hex-nut rail fixing clamps firmly onto the base without the risk of the lever-style variants accidentally releasing in the field, while a pair of double Torx (T15) cap screws — threaded 6-48 — lock the scope tube in place without marking the body when torqued correctly. At low height, the rings suit shooters running objective lenses up to around 40–44 mm who wish to keep the scope as close to the bore as ergonomics allow, aiding a consistent cheek weld.
