The Hawke Precision Steel Ring Mounts are a 2-piece, 1-inch diameter set designed for Weaver and Picatinny rails, supplied in medium height for rifles where modest objective clearance is needed. Construction is solid steel throughout, giving the rings the rigidity and resistance to recoil that demanding field use requires. Rail clamping is via a hex nut (1/2-inch, 8-32 thread), tightened securely to the cross-slots of any Weaver or Picatinny base, while the scope tube is locked in place by double Torx T15 cap screws (6-48 thread) on each ring half. Medium height puts the ring centre at 41 mm above the rail — practical for most standard objective lenses on centrefire and rimfire rifles without adding unnecessary height over bore. At 149 g for the pair, the rings are solid without being heavy. A straightforward, dependable mounting solution from Hawke for shooters who need a no-fuss steel ring on a Weaver-railed rifle.
