The Hawke Precision Steel Ring Mounts are a 2-piece, 30mm ring mount set designed for Weaver and Picatinny rails, supplied in medium height. Constructed from solid steel throughout, they offer the rigidity needed to hold a rifle scope securely through repeated recoil without flex or shift. The hex-nut rail clamps use 8-32 thread fixings with a 1/2-inch nut, giving a firm, repeatable lock to the rail, while the top caps are secured by double Torx T15 screws on a 6-48 thread to grip the scope tube with even pressure and no distortion. At 44mm (1.7 inches) height and weighing 158g, medium-height suits the majority of 30mm objective lenses where barrel clearance is needed without raising the comb line unnecessarily. These mounts carry no internal cushioning or recoil stop pin, so they are intended for centrefire or airgun applications where a direct steel-to-steel contact is preferred.
