The Hawke Precision Steel Ring Mounts are a 2-piece set designed for rifles fitted with a Weaver or Picatinny rail. Built from solid steel throughout, they offer a robust and rigid platform for large-tube scopes requiring a 34mm ring diameter — suited to high-magnification or large-objective glass where a secure, play-free mount is essential. The low-profile configuration keeps the scope as close to the bore as possible, helping maintain a consistent cheek weld and natural sight picture. Rail clamping is achieved via a hex nut (1/2 inch) system on an 8-32 thread, giving a firm, repeatable lock-down without the bulk of a lever mechanism. The top cap is secured with double Torx T15 screws on a 6-48 thread, distributing clamping force evenly across the scope tube to protect the body and hold zero under recoil. The pair weighs 202g combined and fits the standard Weaver slot pattern, making them compatible with a wide range of centrefire and rimfire rifle bases.
