The Hornady Match .223 Remington 75gr BTHP is a centre-fire rifle cartridge built for precision target shooting and competition. Loaded in the Hornady Match line — the same ammunition trusted by competitive shooters at all levels — each round uses a 75-grain boat-tail hollow-point bullet with an AMP (Advanced Manufacturing Process) jacket for consistent concentricity and reduced drag variability. Cases are carefully selected for uniform wall thickness, internal capacity and weight, then loaded with a specifically matched powder charge to deliver optimal pressure and velocity lot to lot. From the factory, every round is checked for consistent bullet seating, charge weight and overall length, all in pursuit of Hornady founder J.W. Hornady's original goal of putting ten bullets through one hole. Muzzle velocity is 2,790 fps from a 24-inch test barrel, producing 1,296 ft/lb at the muzzle. Supplied in a box of 20. A Firearms Certificate (FAC) is required to purchase this ammunition in the UK.
