Hornady Precision Hunter .25-06 Remington ammunition is loaded with the 110 grain ELD-X (Extremely Low Drag – eXpanding) bullet, designed to deliver consistent, controlled expansion at all practical hunting distances. The ELD-X bullet features Hornady's Heat Shield tip, which is immune to aerodynamic heating and retains its shape throughout the bullet's flight path, maintaining the highest-in-class ballistic coefficient from muzzle to target. At conventional ranges, the bullet expands progressively with the thick shank and InterLock ring keeping core and jacket together for reliable weight retention. At extended range, the Heat Shield tip drives rearward into the bullet to initiate expansion, producing a large mushroom and deep penetration. Factory loaded in brass cases with boxer priming, making them fully reloadable. Supplied in a box of 20 rounds.
