- Component reloading bullets — bare projectiles, not loaded ammunition; no FAC required

- Full metal jacket covers the nose to prevent lead exposure and aid reliable feeding
- Substantial gilding metal jacket resists deformation — not a thin-plated imitation
- Cold swaged pure lead core for consistent concentricity and accuracy
- No expansion skives — designed for target and competition use, not terminal expansion
- Suits 9mm Luger and other .355" handgun cartridge applications
The Hornady 9mm .355" 100 grain Full Metal Jacket (FMJ) is a component bullet for handloaders loading 9mm Luger or similar 9mm pistol cartridges. At 100 grains this is a lighter-than-standard 9mm projectile, producing higher velocities and a flat trajectory — a useful choice for target shooting or competition applications where a reduced-recoil load is preferred. The full metal jacket covers the nose completely, preventing lead exposure and reducing the risk of feed malfunctions in semi-automatic pistols. The jacket itself is substantially built rather than thinly plated, resisting deformation on feed ramps and at the target. The core is cold swaged from pure lead for excellent concentricity, contributing to the consistent accuracy this bullet is known for. No expansion-aiding skives are present, as expansion is not required for target applications. Sold as component bullets for handloading — these are bare projectiles, not loaded ammunition, and no firearms certificate is required to purchase them in the UK.
