The Hornady Lock-N-Load Bullet Feeder Die for 40 S&W and 10mm Auto is a dedicated pistol-calibre reloading die designed to work with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Progressive Press Bullet Feeder system. The die is case-activated, meaning a bullet is only released and seated when a case makes contact — eliminating the risk of double-feeding and keeping your progressive press running cleanly at pace. The collets are precision-machined from solid steel, sized specifically for the shared .400" bullet diameter used by both 40 S&W and 10mm Auto cartridges, and built to withstand years of regular use. The die uses the industry-standard 7/8"-14 thread, so it is compatible with the Hornady Lock-N-Load AP and any other press accepting this thread pitch. For the competition shooter or serious handloader running high volumes of 40-calibre pistol ammunition, this die removes the manual bullet-placement step and keeps production smooth and consistent.
