The Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller Collet #2 is sized for .22 calibre bullets and is designed to work exclusively with the Hornady Cam-Lock Bullet Puller. The collet clamps around the bullet shank as the puller is tightened, gripping it securely enough to draw the projectile cleanly from the case without damaging it. This lets the reloader recover the bullet, powder charge and brass intact — whether correcting a loading mistake, reworking a batch for a different load, or breaking down surplus rounds. The cam-lock design delivers controlled, consistent clamping pressure, making it considerably gentler on bullets than hitting an inertia-style puller. The .22 calibre size covers a wide range of popular centrefire and rimfire bullet diameters. Collets are calibre-specific; this #2 collet is for .22 cal projectiles. Sold individually.
