The Hornady Lock-N-Load Handgun Powder Measure Rotor and Metering Assembly is a dedicated replacement and upgrade component for use with the Hornady Lock-N-Load Powder Measure. Designed specifically for pistol and small-capacity cartridges, the rotor features a reduced chamber that allows precise metering of powder charges between 0.5 and 17 grains — the tighter range needed for handgun loads where small variations in charge weight have a pronounced effect on velocity and pressure. The assembly installs into the Lock-N-Load Powder Measure in place of the standard rifle rotor, and metering inserts can be swapped in seconds by pressing the release button, making it straightforward to switch between different powder types or charge weights without tools.
