The Hornady Neck Size Die for 30 Calibre Magnum (.307) is a precision-machined reloading die designed to neck-size fired brass without affecting the body, preserving case life and maintaining the tight chamber fit that handloaders rely on for accuracy. At its heart is Hornady's removable Elliptical Expander — a significant improvement over conventional ball expanders — which delivers exceptionally smooth neck sizing while minimising friction and reducing case neck stretch. Internal threading locks the expander in place, and the elliptical profile means it can also neck cases up to the next calibre without a separate expander die. The Elliptical Expander and hardened steel Headed Decap Pin are mounted to a Zip Spindle™ that locks positively to prevent slippage; fine threads allow incremental adjustments or the spindle can be zipped quickly for larger movements. The included Sure-Loc™ lock ring clamps around the full die body for consistent, vibration-proof positioning. Standard 7/8"-14 thread fits all common reloading presses. Shell holder not included.
