Hornady One Shot Tumbler Media Cob is a ground corn cob abrasive media designed to clean and restore brass cartridge cases ahead of reloading. Poured into a vibratory or rotary case tumbler, the media gently abrades case surfaces to remove tarnish, carbon fouling, and residue that would otherwise accelerate wear on sizing dies and other reloading tools. The 76 oz (4¾ lb) container holds enough media for multiple cleaning sessions, making it a practical choice for reloaders who work through brass in volume. Used dry, it strips surface grime quickly; add a measure of Hornady One Shot Metal Polish to the load and it drives cases to a bright, like-new finish. Compatible with Hornady M-1, Magnum Digital, and other vibratory tumblers, as well as most third-party machines. Ground corn cob is a well-established tumbling medium — firm enough to scour fouling but gentle enough not to alter case dimensions.
