The Hornady Primer Pocket Cleaner Tool (Large) is a case-preparation accessory designed for handloaders who want reliable, consistent primer seating in large-primer brass. Used after firing, it removes carbon build-up and brass irregularities from large rifle and large pistol primer pockets, ensuring the pocket is clean and the primer seats squarely every time. The tool uses 8-32 threads, so it fits the Hornady Universal Accessory Handle (included), the Case Prep Trio and the Case Prep Center, or any other device accepting 8-32 threaded heads. It does not cut crimps from military brass — if your cases have a staked crimp, use a reamer or swage tool first. Supplied with the Universal Accessory Handle and the large rifle/pistol cleaner head. All metal parts benefit from an occasional spray of Hornady One Shot Gun Cleaner and Lube to prevent corrosion and keep the head turning freely.
