At the heart of this die is Hornady's In-line Bullet Seating System, which holds the bullet, case neck and seating stem in perfect alignment within a floating sleeve before the bullet enters the case neck — eliminating tipping and improving concentricity for more consistent rounds. The die body features a retainer ring toward the base that removes in seconds for straightforward disassembly and cleaning. Fine seating-depth adjustments are made via a seater adjustment screw with lock ring and rubber washer, which also keeps the die set together during use. A built-in roll crimper means you can seat and crimp in a single pass without occupying an additional press station. The included Sure-Loc lock ring clamps around the entire die body, applying constant pressure without the locking screw contacting the threads — preserving the die body and allowing easy removal using the integral wrench flats.
