The Hornady Zip Spindle Kit for .17 to .20 calibre sizing dies allows reloaders to upgrade older Hornady sizing dies in these smaller calibres to the current threaded spindle design. It also serves as a handy replacement parts kit for keeping spares at the bench. The Zip Spindle uses a series of fine threads on both the spindle and its locking collar, allowing two modes of adjustment: small, precise incremental turns for fine changes, or fast coarse movement — simply unscrew and slide the spindle up or down — for larger adjustments between load settings. The included threaded spindle lock tightens around the Zip Spindle to fix it firmly in place, preventing slippage during the reloading stroke. Developed specifically for the smaller .17 and .20 calibre die sizes where standard Zip Spindle kits do not apply.
