The JSB KnockOut Slugs in .251 calibre (6.37mm) are purpose-built for hunters and long-range shooters running high-powered FAC PCP air rifles. Weighing 33.49 grains and measuring 7.70mm in length, these soft-lead hollow-point slugs are engineered to retain energy far more effectively downrange than conventional domed pellets. The hollow-point tip initiates rapid expansion on impact, maximising terminal energy transfer — a significant advantage when hunting quarry where clean, ethical kills matter. Unlike traditional diabolo pellets, JSB's slug design gives a much higher ballistic coefficient of 0.092, meaning less velocity bleed over distance; at 50 yards from a 900fps muzzle velocity, they still carry around 20% more energy than an equivalent-weight pellet. Packed 150 to a tin, they are ideally suited to FAC-rated PCP rifles with barrels of 600mm or longer. JSB manufactures these slugs to the same exacting tolerances that make their Match Diabolo pellets a benchmark for consistency, ensuring tight groups tin after tin.
