The JSB Match Diabolo Middle Weight is the Czech manufacturer's most widely used flat-head competition pellet, produced in the Match series that has been part of the JSB line since 1991. Chambered in .177 calibre with a 4.50mm head diameter and weighing 8.02 grains (0.520g), this middle-weight wadcutter is balanced for use in both 10m air rifles and 10m air pistols, making it the versatile centre of the Match range. The flat head is specifically shaped to punch clean, sharply defined holes in paper targets, giving competitors and judges an unambiguous shot record. Every pellet in this series undergoes a thorough manual output quality control inspection before leaving the factory, and each batch is proof-tested by firing groups at 10 metres — the required standard is an average central scatter of no more than 1.5mm across five-shot groups. Consistent weight and head dimensions are the hallmark of the Match line, reducing the variable that a mis-weighed or out-of-round pellet would otherwise introduce into a competition score.
