This is the genuine Kahles flip-up cover for the 46mm ocular (eyepiece) of K525i, K318i, K16i, K1050 and Helia riflescopes. It clips over the rear lens and snaps shut to keep rain, dust, frost and debris off the glass while the rifle is slung or in the slip, then flips open in a moment when you settle behind the scope. The spring-loaded hinge means you can clear the eyepiece one-handed without taking your eye off the deer, which matters on a stalk where seconds count and a fogged or dirty lens costs you the shot. Made for Kahles by Tenebraex, the cover seats neatly on the 46mm eyepiece housing and holds firm under recoil and rough handling in the field. The frame is tough and weather-resistant, and the cap sits flush so it does not snag on clothing or cover. Check that your scope carries the 46mm eyepiece before ordering, as Kahles uses different diameters across the range.
