The Lee Precision Collet Neck Sizing Die for .223 Remington is a single rifle reloading die designed for handloaders who want the best possible accuracy and extended case life from their brass. Rather than working the whole case, it sizes only the neck, squeezing it against a precision-formed steel mandrel via a steel collet. This produces a precisely aligned case neck with minimal run-out, giving a near-perfect bullet fit tailored to the chamber it was fired in. Because the body of the case is left untouched, brass is subject to far less stress — cases can last up to ten times longer than those put through a full-length die. No case lubrication is required at any stage, keeping the process clean and straightforward on the bench. Recommended for bolt-action rifles where the same brass is fired in the same firearm each time; not suited to semi-automatic, slide or lever-action rifles where headspace variation demands full-length sizing. Fits standard 7/8"-14 threaded reloading presses.
