The Lightforce Gun Mounted Lamp Recoil Mount Assembly is a purpose-built mounting bracket designed to hold Lightforce lamping torches securely on a rifle or shotgun while withstanding the shock of repeated recoil. Standard scope-ring mounts can allow a lamp to shift or work loose during a night's foxing or rabbit lamping; this assembly uses a recoil-resistant design to keep the light locked in position shot after shot. It attaches to the rifle's scope or barrel, bringing the Lightforce spotlight in line with the muzzle so the beam tracks exactly where the rifle is pointing — essential when calling foxes in at close range or scanning fields at distance. The metal construction is robust enough for extended field use in all weathers, and the assembly is compatible with Lightforce's RMSM-series gun-mounted lamps (Lance 140 and Striker 170). A sound choice for any lamping outfit where a drifting light would cost you shots.
