Nikko Stirling's MKII Match Mounts are a solid, no-frills set of scope rings for anyone running a 30mm-tube scope on a Weaver or Picatinny-fitted rifle. Machined from aircraft aluminium alloy, each ring is held to the base by twin screws top and bottom, giving a firm grip on both rail and scope tube with no shift under recoil. This medium-height version sits 13.8mm from the base to the underside of the ring saddle, a good middle ground for most stalking and target set-ups where you want the scope close to the bore without touching the barrel or an objective bell. A built-in recoil stop locates the mount securely on the rail, and the inner surface of each ring carries a synthetic protective tape to guard the scope's finish from marking or slipping under use. Straightforward to fit and properly made, they're a dependable choice for mounting a 30mm scope on any rifle with a 5/8" Weaver or Picatinny rail, from a rimfire plinker through to a stalking rifle.
