Birchwood Casey Stock Sheen & Conditioner is a wood-care liquid for gun and rifle stocks, supplied in a 3oz bottle. It is designed to clean, polish and protect stock wood, removing surface grime and minor imperfections to restore a smooth, hand-rubbed appearance. Applied with a soft cloth and worked in with light pressure, it leaves a traditional satin sheen rather than a high gloss, and helps guard the wood against handling and weather. It is a natural partner to a Tru-Oil finish, giving a newly oiled stock its final sheen once the oil has fully cured, but it also works well as a straightforward conditioner and light cleaner for older stocks that have lost their shine. Repeated applications can be used to soften the finish further towards a matte look if preferred. A useful addition to any stalker's or shooter's maintenance kit, it keeps wooden stocks looking cared for between more involved refinishing jobs, and is quick and simple to use out in the field or at home.
