The Swarovski dS Gen. II 5-25x52 P SR is the rail-mount version of Swarovski's smart riflescope, combining a laser rangefinder, ballistics calculator and aiming solution in a single instrument. Settle the fine illuminated 4A-I reticle on the beast, press the button on the eyepiece and the scope measures the distance (30 m to 1,375 m) before instantly displaying a corrected aiming point on its high-resolution display. That correction is calculated from your stored ballistic profile along with the angle of fire, air pressure, temperature and the magnification you have set, so there is no dialling turrets or consulting drop charts with an animal in front of you. Rifle and ammunition data is entered in the dS Configurator app (iOS and Android) and sent to the scope over Bluetooth, and the Gen. II display can be configured with wind bars and readouts such as wind speed, bullet flight time and remaining energy. The optics are pure Swarovski: 5-25x magnification, a 52 mm objective and 83% light transmission. This SR version carries Swarovski's integrated SR rail under the tube for fitting to rail-type mounts rather than rings, giving deer managers and hill stalkers a very quick, repeatable set-up.
