The Web-Tex Warrior is a flexible hand chain saw built for clearing wood when weight and pack space matter. It is a 65cm length of toothed, riveted chain with a sturdy nylon handle at each end, so you grip one in each hand and work it back and forth across the branch. The teeth are set to cut on both the push and the pull stroke, which keeps the saw biting and clears timber faster than a folding blade of the same size. It will work through everything from thin branches to thicker trunks, and because the chain is so long you can loop it over a high limb and saw from below to bring down growth above head height. Folded flat it tucks into a pocket, daysack or survival kit and weighs next to nothing, making it a sensible bit of kit for camping, bushcraft, stalking and general estate work where carrying a bow saw is more than you need. Simple, heavy duty and quick to deploy when you reach a deadfall or need firewood.
