The Zeiss V8 1.1-8x24 with reticle 54 is a high-specification hunting riflescope built for driven hunts and woodland stalking where fast target acquisition is essential. Its 8x zoom range covers everything from close-quarters shots at 1.1x — where both eyes can stay open for full situational awareness — through to precise shots at distance on the upper setting. The extra-large eyebox, wider than the human pupil, gives you generous latitude for eye placement and gets you onto target quickly under pressure. Reticle 54 is Zeiss's driven-hunt design: a second-image-plane crosshair with a fine horizontal bar for height correction and weapon-tilt reference, centred on Zeiss's finest illuminated dot — kept deliberately small to avoid masking the target at any magnification setting. The motion sensor activates the illuminated dot the moment you shoulder the rifle and switches off when you lower it, saving battery and removing one step in a fast shooting sequence. Ultra-FL fluoride glass, T* anti-reflection coating, and 92% light transmission deliver bright, colour-true images into the last light. The 30 mm main tube is nitrogen filled and LotuTec coated; the scope is waterproof to 400 mbar and shock-tested to 1,500 g.
