The Zeiss V8 1.8-14x50 (54) ASV H&S is a top-tier hunting riflescope built for every situation from driven hunts to long-range stalking. The 7.8× zoom range spans 1.8x to 14x, and the 30 mm main tube delivers exceptional reticle adjustment range and optical performance across the full magnification sweep. Reticle 54 is Zeiss's driven-hunt pattern: a fine illuminated dot — reputedly the smallest and brightest in the world — sits within a crosshair frame with a horizontal bar that aids height correction when tracking moving game. At 12× the dot covers just 0.55 cm at 100 m, giving a precise aiming point at extended range without obscuring the target. The ASV H turret (Höhe — elevation) and ASV S turret (Seite — windage) are quick-adjust ballistic dials that let you compensate for bullet drop and wind drift independently, dialling in your precise firing solution without hunting through capped caps. The 50 mm objective gathers ample light, and Zeiss's T* multi-coating delivers a guaranteed 92% light transmission, keeping the image bright and clear well into dusk.
