The ZEISS V8 4.8-35x60 M with reticle 60 and ASV H pairs the V8's maximum-reach optical platform with one of ZEISS's most versatile illuminated reticles. At 4.8 to 35 magnification through a 60mm objective, this scope is designed for hunters taking shots across open ground where distance and precise bullet placement are the primary challenge. The Ultra-FL optical system uses SCHOTT fluoride glass and ZEISS T* multi-coating to achieve 92% light transmission with consistent sharpness and contrast from lowest to highest power. LotuTec coating on the outer lenses sheds rain and condensation, nitrogen fill prevents fogging, and the housing is waterproof to 400 mbar. Reticle 60 is a fine illuminated design with bars half the subtension of the older reticle 40 and twice the open space between them — at 12x it covers just 0.55cm at 100m, making it ideal for precise target identification without obscuring the aim point. The illuminated dot is both bright enough for daytime use and sufficiently dimmable for low-light shooting. The ASV H elevation turret provides direct bullet-drop compensation with 140cm of travel and 1cm-per-click adjustments at 100m, the 34mm main tube offering a wide elevation range for long-range dialling.
