The ZEISS V8 4.8-35x60 M with reticle 60 and ASV H & S represents the most fully specified variant of the V8 long-range line: the high-magnification 4.8–35x60 optical platform combined with independent ballistic turrets for both elevation and windage. When conditions demand dialling out drop and drifting wind separately — long shots across Highland glens, open Alpine faces, or any ground where distance and crosswind both require compensation — this configuration gives you repeatable, precise control over both axes. The Ultra-FL optical system with SCHOTT fluoride glass and ZEISS T* multi-coating delivers 92% light transmission and consistent image quality from 4.8x to maximum 35x. LotuTec coating on the outer lenses keeps the glass clear in rain, while nitrogen fill and 400 mbar waterproofing protect against the conditions that tend to accompany mountain stalking. Reticle 60 is a finely drawn illuminated crosshair covering just 0.55cm at 100m at 12x — minimal target obscuration, and bright enough for daytime use while remaining dimmable for lower light. The multifunction illumination button operates silently with gloved hands and auto-deactivates when the rifle is lowered.
