The Sportsmatch HTO8C is a high, two-piece scope mount for 1" (25mm) diameter scope tubes, built to fit the 3/8" / 9.5-11.5mm dovetail grooves found on most air rifles and rimfire rifles. Each mount uses four-bolt top rings clamped onto two-bolt bases, giving a secure double-screw fixing at both the scope and the rail. The high profile suits scopes with an objective lens up to around 56mm on most rifles, keeping the bell clear of the barrel, and a removable stop pin locates into the dovetail groove to help prevent the mount shifting under recoil.
