The Nite Ize CamJam Tie Down Strap is an 18-foot cam-buckle tie-down built for securing loads quickly and confidently, whether you're strapping down a stalking trailer, kit in the back of a pickup, or gear on a roof rack. The strap itself is 1" wide, high-density weave polypropylene webbing that's waterproof and built for repeated, rugged use. Tension is applied and controlled through the CamJam mechanism: a die-cast zinc alloy housing with a nickel-plated finish, a centre pivot pin and a stainless steel torsion spring that drives an integrated webbing capture ring. That capture ring is the key feature — it lets you release tension in a controlled way rather than having a load snap free suddenly, which matters when you're working with anything heavy or awkward. The strap can be rigged in either a loop configuration or a lockout configuration, so it adapts to different tie-down jobs rather than doing just one.
