The Nosler Ballistic Tip Hunting .308 150gr bullet (part 30150) is a reloading component built for thin-skinned medium game including deer, antelope and sheep. Its streamlined polymer tip — colour-coded by calibre — resists deformation in the magazine and triggers expansion immediately on impact. The fully tapered jacket and special lead-alloy core work together to allow controlled expansion and good weight retention across all practical velocity levels, while the heavy jacketed base acts as a platform for a large-diameter mushroom and prevents deformation during firing. The boat tail base works with the polymer tip to flatten trajectory and ease loading. With a G1 BC of approximately 0.435 and a sectional density of 0.226, the 30-calibre 150gr Ballistic Tip performs well at both close ranges and longer shots where the .308 is called upon.
