Nosler's E-Tip is a one-piece, lead-free hunting bullet machined from a highly concentric gilding-metal alloy, designed for stalkers and hunters who need to use non-lead bullets without sacrificing terminal performance. This .30 calibre (0.308in) 150-grain Spitzer boat-tail uses the same polycarbonate tip fitted to Nosler's AccuBond and Ballistic Tip bullets, which resists deformation in the magazine under recoil and helps trigger reliable expansion on impact. An Expansion Control Ring and Energy Expansion Cavity combine to open the bullet immediately and evenly, while the solid alloy body retains 95%+ of its original weight for deep, controlled penetration. The boat-tail base cuts drag for a flatter trajectory and better retained energy downrange, and the patent-pending alloy is formulated to reduce fouling through the bore. Supplied as unprimed component projectiles in a box of 50 for handloaders, not as loaded ammunition.
