Nosler's E-Tip is a lead-free hunting bullet built for handloaders who need full-power performance without lead in the projectile. This box of 50 covers .338 calibre (0.338in diameter) at 225 grains, with a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.611 and a sectional density of 0.281 for strong retained energy downrange. The polycarbonate tip is the same design used on Nosler's AccuBond and Ballistic Tip bullets, protecting the nose from deformation in the magazine while initiating reliable expansion on impact. A concentric gilding-metal jacket and a precisely formed boat-tail keep drag low and accuracy high, while the purpose-built Energy Expansion Cavity gives immediate, uniform expansion and retains over 95% of the bullet's weight for deep penetration on large deer and dangerous game. The lead-free alloy also reduces barrel fouling. Cannelured for secure crimping, with a minimum recommended impact velocity of 1800fps. Supplied as projectiles only — not loaded ammunition — for handloaders working up their own .338 magnum rounds.
