Sierra's GameKing .338 Calibre 250 grain Spitzer Boat Tail is a component bullet built for reloaders loading big magnum cartridges for heavy game. Designed around the .338 Winchester Magnum, and equally suited to the .340 Weatherby Magnum, this 250 grain bullet combines an extra-heavy double-tapered jacket with a hard core to give controlled, reliable expansion and deep penetration on impact. The Spitzer Boat Tail profile carries a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.565 and a sectional density of 0.313, delivering a flat trajectory, low wind drift and consistent accuracy at extended range even under the robust recoil of maximum magnum loads. It's a proven choice among hunters after Europe's largest deer species and heavier plains and mountain game further afield, where bullet toughness and penetration matter as much as accuracy.
