Sierra's GameKing .35 Calibre (.358" diameter) 225 grain Spitzer Boat Tail bullets are reloading components built for hunters who need reach as well as knock-down power. The boat tail design carries the ballistic efficiency more usually associated with match bullets, giving a flatter trajectory and better retained energy at distance than flat-base equivalents. Sierra developed this 225gr load specifically for the 35 Whelen and similar cartridges of that capacity, and it is not recommended for use in the 35 Remington. Within its intended cartridges it is regarded as an accurate, consistent 35 calibre bullet suitable for all North American big game, and by the same logic for UK deer stalking where a 35 Whelen or comparable rifle is used. Each box contains 50 non-coated, non-cannelured bullets with a G1 ballistic coefficient of 0.37 and a sectional density of 0.251, manufactured by Sierra in the USA to the tight tolerances the GameKing range is known for. Supplied as bullet heads only, for handloaders working up their own ammunition.
