Sierra's 8mm (.323) 200 grain HPBT MatchKing is a precision target bullet built for long-range accuracy, not for loaded ammunition supply — these are projectiles for handloading only. Added to the Sierra line in 2002, this MatchKing gives European shooters a world-class target bullet for the traditional 8x57 calibre, and also suits American cartridges such as the 8mm Remington Magnum. Each bullet uses a hollow point boat tail design with a very thin, exacting jacket held to tight concentricity tolerances, giving the highest practical ballistic coefficient for the calibre. Weight is controlled to within a fraction of a grain, and diameter tolerances are equally tight, which is why MatchKings have set the standard in target shooting for decades and have won more competitions than any rival bullet. This is a match bullet rather than a hunting design — Sierra does not recommend MatchKings for most hunting use, as their construction does not give the same reliable expansion as GameKing or Pro-Hunter bullets at hunting velocities. Supplied in boxes of 100, non lead-free, non-cannelured, with a non-coated finish, made in the USA.
