The Sierra Pro-Hunter 125 grain Spitzer is a .311in diameter reloading bullet for handloaders, supplied unloaded in boxes of 100. Designed around the flat-base Pro-Hunter jacket, it combines Sierra's accuracy pedigree with controlled expansion and reliable weight retention on impact. The #2305 was originally developed for the Russian 7.62x39mm cartridge, but its .311in diameter also suits the classic British military round, the .303 British (7.7mm), as well as the 7.7mm Arisaka and 7.65mm Mauser. Sierra's profiled ogive point shape feeds cleanly through semi-automatic actions and gives the bullet a flat trajectory with good downrange energy retention, making it a capable light-game and varmint option in these older service calibres. This is a component bullet only, not loaded ammunition, so it must be seated and loaded by the handloader using appropriate load data.
