Sierra's Pro-Hunter 175 grain Spitzer is a proven big-game bullet in 8mm (.323 inch) calibre, supplied as a box of 100 bullet heads for handloading — not loaded ammunition. It uses the traditional Pro-Hunter flat-base design, combining Sierra's renowned accuracy with a custom-tapered jacket that promotes controlled expansion, good weight retention and deep penetration for reliable one-shot performance on medium and larger game. The 175 grain weight makes it a natural choice for the 8x57mm Mauser, and it also performs well loaded in the 8mm magnum cartridges favoured by stalkers and big-game hunters.
