The Sitka Merino Core Lightweight Half-Zip is a next-to-skin base layer top built from a premium 85% 120-gram 17.5-micron merino wool and 15% nylon core-spun blend, giving it the comfort, warmth, moisture management and natural odour control of merino with the durability and stretch of nylon. The fabric is treated with Polygiene odour-control technology, which stops the growth of odour-causing bacteria for cleaner multi-day wear on longer trips. A high heat-to-weight ratio and excellent breathability let it work as a versatile base layer across a broad range of conditions and activity levels, from cold, static watches to harder hill work, while the half-zip neck gives quick ventilation when the pace picks up. Finished in GORE OPTIFADE Concealment Open Country, a pattern developed for engagement ranges of 50 yards and beyond at ground level in open, rocky terrain above the treeline, it suits hunters working exposed high ground as well as UK stalkers after a proven, close-fitting thermal top. The close, low-bulk fit layers cleanly under mid and outer garments without adding bulk.
