The Sportsmatch TO4C is a two-piece scope mount built for 1in (25mm) tube scopes on 11mm (3/8in) dovetail rails, the standard fitting found on most air rifles and rimfire rifles. Machined in Great Britain to Sportsmatch's usual close tolerances, each ring is secured with double screws per side for a firm, positive grip on the scope tube, while the two-bolt base clamps securely to the rifle's dovetail. A removable arrestor pin locates into the dovetail groove to stop the mount creeping under recoil, and can be taken out where the rifle's dovetail doesn't need it. Medium height suits scopes with an objective lens up to 45mm in diameter on most rifles, giving good clearance over the barrel without sitting unnecessarily high. Supplied as a matched pair (front and rear ring/base), the TO4C is a straightforward, no-nonsense way to get a scope mounted solidly and squarely, and is backed by Sportsmatch's own manufacturing quality assurance.
