Bisley's RB6 rail adaptors solve a common mounting headache: a scope base drilled for traditional 9.5-11.5mm dovetail rings fitted to a rifle with a Weaver or Picatinny rail. Sold as a pair, the adaptor blocks clamp onto the Weaver/Picatinny rail and present a dovetail interface on top, letting you fit your existing dovetail mounts and rings rather than buying a whole new set to match the rail. This is particularly handy on air rifles and rimfire rifles, where Weaver/Picatinny rails have become common but a lot of scope mounts already on the market — and already in shooters' kit bags — are still cut for the older dovetail standard. Being genuine Bisley Sportsmatch parts, they're made to a proper engineering tolerance rather than a loose universal fit, so once torqued down they hold zero as well as a rail matched to the mount from the factory. A simple, sensibly priced fix rather than a false economy of buying twice.
