The Sentinel ST5 from Brattonsound is a British-made gun cabinet offering secure storage for 4 to 5 shotguns or non-scoped rifles, built and independently tested to BS7558 for police acceptance. Security comes from dual high-security key locks, each supplied with two keys, backed by a full-length anti-jemmy bar down the lock side of the door. The door itself is recessed with multiple folds worked into both the door and door housing, adding real resistance against forced attack rather than relying on the lock alone. Inside, a high-density foam divider keeps guns separated and upright, while a floor mat protects stocks and actions from scuffing during storage and retrieval. As an entry point into the Sentinel range, the ST5 keeps a compact footprint suited to a gun room, garage or under-stairs space where a full-height rifle cabinet won't fit. Note that its standard depth means it is not suitable for rifles fitted with scopes — for those, Brattonsound's extra-deep Sentinel models are the better fit.
