Nosler's E-Tip is a one-piece, lead-free hunting bullet machined from a highly concentric gilding-metal alloy, giving hunters a non-lead option without compromising terminal performance. This .25 calibre (0.257in) 100-grain Spitzer boat-tail carries the same polycarbonate tip fitted to Nosler's AccuBond and Ballistic Tip bullets, which resists deformation in the magazine under recoil and helps initiate expansion on impact. An Expansion Control Ring and Energy Expansion Cavity work together to open the bullet immediately and uniformly, while the solid-alloy construction retains 95%+ of its original weight for controlled penetration on lighter-bodied game. The boat-tail profile cuts drag for a flatter trajectory and more retained energy downrange, and the patent-pending alloy is formulated to reduce barrel fouling. Supplied as unprimed component projectiles in a box of 50 for handloaders, not as loaded ammunition. A useful lead-free option in .25 calibre cartridges such as .25-06 Remington for roe deer, fox and other smaller quarry.
