Two 4.5W LED bulbs — equivalent in brightness to traditional 2 x 15W fluorescent lamps — operate at a frequency that is highly effective at attracting flying insects while using around 50% less energy than fluorescent alternatives. Rated for up to 10,000 hours of use, the bulbs outlast conventional options considerably, reducing both replacement costs and maintenance downtime. Installation is straightforward: hang the unit on its supplied chain or wall hooks using the 2-metre power cable, and the electric zapping grid handles the rest. A removable collection drawer contains insect remains hygienically until it is time for a clean-out — useful in any food-handling or preparation environment. The unit's black and aluminium finish is discreet enough for front-of-house settings and robust enough for back-of-house use.
