The Birchwood Casey AR500 3/8" Crow is a precision laser-cut steel target plate shaped as a crow silhouette, built for reactive steel shooting at the range. Cut from 3/8-inch AR500 steel, the same hardened plate used across Birchwood Casey's silhouette range, it's rated to handle bullet energy up to 3000 ft-lbs, comfortably covering the great majority of centre-fire rifle and handgun loads. The laser-cutting process leaves a smooth, burr-free edge rather than the rough, torn profile of a plasma-cut plate, which matters both for consistent behaviour on impact and for the sharpness of the crow outline itself. A single mounting hole lets it hang from a T-post hanger, gong hanger or dedicated stand, and the plate is finished in Birchwood Casey's bright white powder coat, which stays clearly visible at distance and shows fresh hits against older, weathered marks. It's supplied as the bare steel silhouette only - a hanger or stand is needed to mount it, and as with any steel target, a safe minimum engagement distance should always be observed.
