The Birchwood Casey AR500 3/8" Round Gong is a 10-inch diameter steel target designed for live-fire practice with centrefire rifle and handgun rounds, giving a solid, audible clang on a good hit. It's made from 3/8-inch NM500 steel and finished in a hi-vis white powder-coat, keeping hits clearly visible and helping the paint outlast bare steel. A double hang hole lets it hang cleanly from a stand or frame, while square mounting holes elsewhere on the plate take standard carriage bolts (not included) for a more permanent setup. At 10 inches, it sits in the middle of Birchwood Casey's round gong range — offered from 4 to 15 inches — striking a balance between a demanding aim point and a target that's still easy to pick up at range. Hang several gongs of different sizes together to build a complete steel range with a mix of difficulty.
