The H&N Slug HP Heavy is a purpose-built airgun slug designed to extend the weight range in .22 calibre (5.51mm) for high-power PCP air rifles. At 38 grains with a head size of .217", these are lead slugs — not traditional diabolo pellets — shaped to stabilise via rifling twist at higher velocities. The defining feature is an oversized hollow-point meplat combined with soft lead construction, engineered to deliver maximum expansion and energy transfer on impact for a quick, humane kill in the field.
